What a lovely boost, ‘Portrait’, from The Print Museum was chosen as the Saturday Poem in the Guardian over Easter weekend, appearing in the Review section and online.
I really like the image they put with it, a wonderful picture of Julian of Norwich – the first woman to write a book in English – whose quote ‘And all manner of thing shall be well’ features in the poem.
The poem was commissioned by a colleague for a friend of hers who was retiring, and it’s wonderful to see her and her husband celebrated in the Guardian in my imaginary portrait.
