Exciting news – ‘The Print Museum’ has been shortlisted for the 2016 East Anglian Book Awards.
There are six different categories, including fiction, history, poetry, memoir, children’s and non-fiction. A winner is chosen from each category, then an overall winner is chosen from those.
There’s also a
‘best cover‘ prize, which is quite coveted. The ceremony takes place on 3 November and the winners are announced then.
There was a wonderful feature and review about The Print Museum in our local paper, the Eastern Daily Press, when it came out in the Spring. It’s also been featured in Norfolk magazine as part of both the Kings Lynn Poetry Festival and the Heritage Open Days, mentioning the John Jarrold Printing Museum. So it’s had very nice notices locally, and I’m really pleased.
‘Heidi’s collection works beautifully, drawing extensively on the art of printing both for its own sake as a fascinating subject in itself but also as a metaphor for wider topics… an engaging collection which acts as a kind of love letter to a sadly dying craft.’ – Trevor Heaton, Eastern Daily Press
