The High Window is a vibrant quarterly review of poetry co-founded by David Cooke and Anthony Costello. Issue 4 has now gone live on the internet and is free for you to read and enjoy a wide-ranging and impressive mix of poetry.
As well as many new poems from contemporary poets (including four from me) there’s a featured American Poet (Michalle Gould) and a translation supplement focussing on French poems. There’s also an essay on the work of Bob Dylan, a feature on Angela Smyth and a bumper reviews section.
You can read all the poems here.
The Reader
I’m also delighted to have a new poem in Issue 64 of The Reader magazine. It publishes new fiction and poetry, classic and neglected works, interviews with leading figures in the world of the arts, thought-pieces, advice for reading groups, research into reading and news from the world of books.
It’s a high quality print journal and a cracking read. I’d highly recommend getting your hands on a copy.
“The Reader is one of the best things to thump through the letter box. . . . Full of pithy, passionate and precise things.” Seamus Heaney
