The very talented Erin Vasta has produced a stunning dance film of the sequence ‘At the Print Museum’ from my second collection ‘The Print Museum’.
It’s fascinating watching the human body move in dance, and to think about the engineering required. Especially when overlaid against the fluid, sensory movements of an ancient printing press. Erin went to the John Jarrold Printing Museum to film some of the machines that helped inspire the work.
Recording for At the Print Museum dance film
It was such a pleasure working with Erin, and so interesting to see how other artists interpret my work.
I found the resulting film joyful to watch.
