May is proving to be a communal poetry month. On thursday 20th May at 7pm, I’m looking forward to sharing some virtual space with my dear friend Sue Burge, reading from her latest book ‘Confetti Dancers‘, and Judy Brown, whose poetry I’ve admired for a long time.

Join Sue Burge, Heidi Williamson and Judy Brown on their individual journeys across time and space in poems that explore landscape, loss and love. You’ll be transported through the cities and countryside of Russia, and visit London’s Royal Academy of Dancing as it experiences the impact of the AIDS epidemic. You’ll move through the stunningly beautiful yet intimately elegiac landscape of Central Scotland. You’ll stop in Hong Kong and journey to Grasmere and North Wales for metaphysical and playful inspiration. In a one hour reading you’ll be amazed how far you can travel.
