Last year I was invited to pen a poem for the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences’ project ‘A Picture of Health’.
My ‘Microbiome ghazal’ has gone into a book which is being launched this week at a series of events at the Institute’s new state-of-the-art research facility in Hammersmith.
The Art and Science event on Wednesday 11 January is hosted by Vivienne Parry and features a reading from Michael Rosen. I can’t be there in person but have recorded my poem for screening on the night. Even a virtual reading with Michael Rosen is extremely exciting!
