FREE In-Person Poetry Reading at the Rothermere American Institute in Oxford Thursday 4th May, 5-6.30pm with Wine Reception after.
Myself and Sylee Gore have co-created a new chapbook of poems featuring UK and US writers responding to poems in the PennSound archive – the largest collection of historic and contemporary poetry recordings world-wide.
We teamed up with poets affiliated in some way with University of Oxford or Kelly Writers House from the University of Pennsylvania and the project was funded by the Rothermere American Institute in Oxford.
We’re giving a reading of the new poems on Thursday 4th May. UK poets will be live in-person, and US poets will perform via Zoom. There are terrific poets reading, including: Ahmad Almallah, Herman Beavers, Julia Bloch, Knar Gavin, Sylee Gore, Davy Knittle, Mir Elias, Alex Moon, Bernard O’ Donoghue, Yousif M. Qasmiyeh, Laura Theis and myself.
Do come along if you’re in Oxford on May 4th!
