Each April many poets take part in ‘National Write–a-Poem-a-Day Month‘ (catchily shortened to NaPoWriMo), where writers are encouraged to pen a poem every day for 30 days. It’s a fun challenge, and a good way to get into a rhythm of writing.
Lots of organisations, including the Poetry Society post prompts to help poets come up with a new poem each day.
I was asked to supply a pithy prompt, which was shared on social media. I’m sharing it here too, to help prompt a new poem for anyone who fancies.
