5 October 2016

Hosted by poet and former Chair of the Poetry Society, Anne-Marie Fyfe, Coffee-House Poetry at The Troubadour on Old Brompton Road has been delighting poetry audiences for many years.

I’m excited to be taking part in ‘Cornucopia – cream of the 2016 crop’ of new collections and work on Monday 17th October, 8 – 10pm.

I’ll be reading alongside Scarlett Sabet, Paul Casey, Sue Boyle, John Greening, Afric McGlinchey, Angela Kirby and Michelle Cahill.

I read at The Troubadour a couple of years ago as part of a wonderful Magma magazine launch, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Especially exciting for me is that the Troubadour is the first place Bob Dylan played in London, and it still has its ‘raffish, continental, revolutionary’ feel that attracted so many great names to perform there.
